Help when you need it
There are lots of ways you can talk to someone if you're worried about something, or if you're worried about a friend.
Need to know
- We know that turning up to school and your wellbeing are often linked.
- When you feel safe, connected and secure you are more likely to engage better in your learning.
- You are not alone, there is always someone ready to talk to you.
- The services on this page are free* to access and provide confidential support or advice.
- *note some mobile carriers may charge a fee
A strong sense of wellbeing gives you the confidence to take advantage of new opportunities.
When we talk about wellbeing, we are talking about ensuring children and young people are:
- feel loved, safe, and valued
- have access to material basics
- have their physical, mental, and emotional needs met
- are learning and participating
- have a positive sense of culture and identity.
If you are feeling anxious or worried about your wellbeing, or a friend’s wellbeing, there are supports and resources available to help you.
Please always reach out when you need help or are worried about someone you know.
